Zhangwu Town, subordinate to Zhangwu County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the center of Zhangwu County. It borders erdaohezi Township in the East, Xiliu Township in the south, Wufeng town in the West and Xinglongshan Township in the north. It is the seat of the people's Government of Zhangwu County. The administrative area of the town is 54.79 square kilometers.

In 1946, Zhangwu town was built under the rule of the Kuomintang. In the winter of 1947, after the liberation of Zhangwu, Chengguan District was set up and later renamed the first district. In 1956, it was changed into Zhangwu town. In 1958, it was changed into Zhangwu town commune. In early 1984, it was changed to Zhangwu town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Zhangwu town was 70073. As of June 2020, Zhangwu town has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

By the end of 2018, Zhangwu town had 30 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
