Imato town
Yimatu Town, belonging to Fuxin Mongolian Autonomous County, Fuxin City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southwest of the county. It is bounded by yimatu River in the East, facing Dongliang town and wofenggou Township across the river, adjacent to Yixian County of Jinzhou City in the south, spider mountain town in the West and Fosi town in the north. It belongs to Fuxin County. The maximum distance between East and West is 10.4 km, and the maximum distance between North and south is 15.5 km. The total area is 92.76 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of the town of IRTU was 26212.
Imato town is named after the imato river that flows through the area. In the spring of 1956, it was the hometown of imato. In September 1958, it was incorporated into paradise commune. In 1961, imato was set up from Paradise commune. In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In 1992, the township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, imato town has 14 villagers' committees.
In 2018, there were 38 industrial enterprises in imatu Town, including 14 Enterprises above Designated Size and 39 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1940, it belonged to tumed Left Banner.
In 1945, after the victory of the Anti Japanese War, it belonged to Fuxin County.
In the winter of 1947, the imatu area was liberated and divided into the 13th and 14th districts of Fuxin County.
In 1949, it was divided into the fourteenth district.
In the spring of 1956, it was the hometown of imato.
In September 1958, it was incorporated into paradise commune.
In 1961, imato was set up from Paradise commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.
In 1992, the township was transformed into a town.
