Banshigou Township, belonging to Linghai City, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west of Linghai City, bordering Taihe District in the East, Huludao City in the south, Nanpiao District of Huludao City in the West and bangita town in the north, with an administrative area of 102.36 square kilometers.
In 1949, Banshigou Township belonged to the Fourth District of Jin county; in 1983, Banshigou commune was changed into Banshigou township; in 1993, Banshigou township was changed into Linghai city. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the 13394 provinces was in the village. As of June 2020, Banshigou township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in shangbanshigou village.

In 1956, it belonged to Banshigou Township, the Fifth District of Jinxian county.
In 1958, it belonged to bangita commune.
In 1961, Banshigou commune was established.
In 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Banshigou commune was established.
In 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Banshigou commune was changed into the commune management committee.
In 1983, Banshigou commune was transformed into Banshigou township.
In 1993, Banshigou township was changed into Linghai city.
