Xiajiapu town
Xiajiapu Town, subordinate to Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the northwest of Qingyuan Manchu Autonomous County, bordering gounaidian Township in the East, Beisan Township in the south, shangfeidi town in Kaiyuan city of Tieling City in the West and Dagujia town in the north. It covers an area of 452.38 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xia Jiabao town was 30584.
In July 1950, it was changed to the Sixth District Office. In June 1958, xiajiapu district was built. In November 1958, it was changed into a commune. In July 1965, it was merged into xiajiabao commune. In April 1980, three communes, Houshi commune, xiajiabao commune and hongtumiao commune, were established. In September 1983, it was transformed into Houshi Township, xiajiapu town and hongtumiao township. In June 1999, Houshi and hongtumiao were merged into xiajiapu town. As of June 2020, xiajiapu town has jurisdiction over one community and 27 administrative villages, and the people's Government of xiajiapu town is located at No. 51, South 1st Road, xiajiapu village.
In 2018, there were 21 industrial enterprises in xiajiapu Town, including 1 industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 47 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In the early years of the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China, it belonged to Kaiyuan county.
In 1925, the Qing government was established and divided into six districts.
In July 1950, it was changed to the Sixth District Office.
In June 1958, xiajiapu district was built. In November of the same year, it was changed into a commune.
In June 1962, the former xiajiabao commune was divided into Houshi commune, xiajiabao commune and hongtumiao commune.
In July 1965, it was merged into xiajiabao commune.
In April 1980, three communes, Houshi commune, xiajiabao commune and hongtumiao commune, were established.
In September 1983, it was transformed into Houshi Township, xiajiapu town and hongtumiao township.
In June 1999, Houshi and hongtumiao were merged into xiajiapu town.
