Tayu town
Tayu Town, subordinate to Wanghua District, Fushun City, Liaoning Province, is located in the south of Wanghua District, adjacent to Qianjin Township, Xinfu District in the East, Shiwen Town, Fushun County in the south, Lagu Manchu Township in the West and guchizi street in the north. It covers an area of 52.77 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the registered residence in Ta Yu town was 17593.
In 1962, Tayu commune was established, belonging to Fushun County. In August 1978, the suburb of Fushun City was established, and the Tayu commune was put under the jurisdiction of the suburb. On March 16, 1988, the suburb was renamed Shuncheng district. Tayu town belongs to Shuncheng district. In March 1999, it was classified as Wanghua District. As of June 2020, Tayu town has jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Tayu village.
In 2018, there were 150 industrial enterprises in Tayu Town, including 3 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
In 1962, Tayu commune was established, belonging to Fushun County.
In August 1978, the suburb of Fushun City was established, and the Tayu commune was put under the jurisdiction of the suburb.
In September 1983, Tayu township was changed into a suburb; 15 brigades were changed into villagers' committees, and each village set up a production association. Because Wulao was an Urban Management District, only an association was set up. On February 24, 1986, the township was transformed into a town.
On March 16, 1988, the suburb was renamed Shuncheng district. Tayu town belongs to Shuncheng district.
In March 1999, it was classified as Wanghua District.

There are two main rivers in Tayu Town: yangbai River and Tayu river. Yangbai river flows from Dongzhou District in the east to wulaotun in Wanghua District in the west, and then flows into Guchengzi River, with a total length of 12.4 km. Wanghua section is 3 km. After flowing through yingshou reservoir and Shiwen Town, the Tayu River enters the former gujia village, flows from south to north through the whole territory of Tayu Town, and then flows into Guchengzi River and into Hunhe River, with a total length of 17.8 km.
