Taodian Hui Nationality Village

Taodian Hui Township of Shouxian county is located in the middle of Shouxian County, on the West Bank of Wabu Lake, adjacent to Yankou town in the South and Yaokou town in the north. Founded in December 1985, it is one of the four ethnic townships in Huainan City. The seventh batch of national demonstration areas (units) for national unity and progress.

Brief introduction of villages and towns

the township covers an area of 38 square kilometers, with four administrative villages (including three ethnic villages), a population of 14617 (including 4522 Hui people), 114 villager groups, 4719 households and 42000 mu of arable land. (during the construction of Shanghe Hangzhou railway, it only takes about 30 minutes to take the high-speed railway from Shouxian county to Hefei, the provincial capital). County Road X020 passes through the area. The Wabuhu bridge connecting the East and the west is about to be completed and opened to traffic. Provincial road 203 connects the largest inland lake Wharf in Lu'an City. Ji Qi Expressway passes through the area, directly to Hefei, the provincial capital, and the Hefei Huaifu Expressway in the East. It is 40 km (Ji'an) away from the new Hefei airport in the south It only takes more than 20 minutes to get to anfengtang expressway. 30 kilometers away from Huainan Municipal government, location and transportation advantages are increasingly prominent. The roads in the township are connected in a ring, with cement roads for every village, and more than 90% of the roads for groups and households. There are 10 large, medium and small pumping stations along the lake, with convenient and fast irrigation conditions. there are complete communication facilities, obvious geographical advantages, flat terrain, rich resources along the lake, developed aquaculture and animal husbandry, 25 large-scale agricultural cooperatives, and 13 aquaculture and livestock breeding bases. The unique ethnic customs make it a good place for sightseeing and fishing. Taodian's national economic and social development has been highly valued by the Party committee and government at higher levels for many years. Leaders at all levels often visit and guide the work in person. Every year, governments at all levels support the development of tens of millions of yuan, which effectively promotes the rapid development of ethnic townships. Aquaculture (silver carp, tile shrimp, wild fish), rubber powder, wood, building materials and other leading products have taken shape. there are four schools in the area, including one middle school and three primary schools, with 65 staff and 733 students. There are 1 Central Hospital, 4 village clinics, 24 medical staff and 23 beds. There are 2 homes for the aged, with 100 elderly people under five guarantees. On the west side of the township government, there is a comprehensive cultural square with national characteristics, covering an area of 18 mu, integrating culture, leisure and entertainment.
