Lingshui Street
Lingshui street, subordinate to Ganjingzi District of Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is temporarily managed by Dalian high tech Zone (belonging to functional zone). It is located in the southwest of Dalian City, adjacent to Heishijiao street of Shahekou District in the East, Yellow Sea in the south, longwangtang street of high tech Industrial Park in the West and Hongqi Street of Ganjingzi District in the north, with a total area of 43.8 square kilometers. The land area is 42.8 square kilometers, accounting for 97.8%; the water area is 1 square kilometers, accounting for 2.2%.
In March 1956, Lingshui township was established. In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established. In November 1983, Lingshui commune was transformed into a township. In June 1985, Lingshui township was transformed into a town. In April 2002, the town changed into a street. At the end of 2011, Lingshui street had a total population of 89500. As of June 2020, Lingshui street has jurisdiction over 25 communities and 5 administrative villages, and its sub district office is located at 168 Lingshui road.
In 2011, the total revenue of Lingshui street was 490 million yuan, an increase of 14% over the previous year.
Historical evolution
During the Warring States period, it belonged to yanliaodong county.
After the first year of Tang Zongzhang (668), it was under the jurisdiction of Jili Prefecture.
Liao belongs to Laisu County of Suzhou.
After the fourth year of Jin Zhenyou (1216), it belonged to Jinzhou.
The Yuan Dynasty belongs to wanhufu of Jinfu Prefecture.
The Ming Dynasty belongs to jinzhouwei.
The Qing Dynasty successively belonged to the travel and safety agency of Jinzhou department in Ninghai County.
In 1898, the Qing government was forced to sign the "LvDa lease treaty" and the "renewal of LvDa lease treaty" with tsarist Russia. LvDa became a tsarist colony. The Tsarist Russian authorities set up Guandong Province, which was a Lushun administrative region at that time.
In 1905, after the Russo Japanese War, Japan occupied LvDa and changed the province of Guandong to Guandong Prefecture, which belonged to Lushun civil affairs department.
In 1937, some of them were assigned to Dalian military service center and the other to Lushun civil affairs department.
In the winter of 1944, it was assigned to Dalian military service institute.
On August 22, 1945, Dalian was liberated.
On November 8, 1945, when Dalian was founded, it belonged to Dalian.
In January 1946, when Dalian county was founded, it belonged to Dalian county.
December 1, 1950, belongs to xiaopingdao District of Luda city.
In April 1955, the District People's government was changed into the District People's Committee.
In March 1956, Lingshui township was set up; in August of the same year, it belonged to daxinzhaizi district.
In June 1958, daxinzhaizi District merged the three townships of xiaopingdao, Hekou and Lingshui into Lingshui township.
In September 1958, the Township Reform commune was established.
In July 1959, daxinzhaizi district was abolished and Lingshui was assigned to Shahekou District.
In September 1966, it was assigned to Ganjingzi District.
In March 1968, the name of the unit was followed by the Revolutionary Committee.
In May 1980, it was changed to Lingshui commune management committee of Ganjingzi District.
In November 1983, Lingshui commune was transformed into a township.
In June 1985, Lingshui township was transformed into a town.
In April 2002, the town changed into a street.
In September 2008, Lingshui street was assigned to Dalian high tech Industrial Park (a functional area, and the administrative division of the street still belongs to Ganjingzi District).

History and culture
Lingshui, formerly known as Lingshui, was published in the local records of Nanjin: Lingshui Island, 60 li away. There is a water bay in the upper reaches of Lingshui estuary, which looks like water chestnut. Later, Lingshui was changed to zero water and Lingshui again. So far, it is named Lingshui.
Honorary title
In November 2020, Lingshui street was selected into the sixth national civilized unit list.
