In March 1956, xinzhaizi township was established. In June 1985, xinzhaizi township was transformed into a town. In March 2002, xinzhaizi town was transformed into xinzhaizi street. At the end of 2011, the total population of xinzhaizi sub district was 37010. As of June 2020, xinzhaizi sub district has jurisdiction over 19 communities, and the sub district office is located at 517 Hongcheng Road, lizishan village.

Historical evolution

In March 1956, xinzhaizi township was established. Daxinzhaizi village, xiaoxinzhaizi village, lazishan village, Dadonggou village and Youjia village belong to xinzhaizi township.

In 1958, daxinzhaizi, gezhenbao and Qipan were merged to form gezhenbao township. Except Nanshan and Paoya, all villages belong to gezhenbao Township, daxinzhaizi District, Luda city.
