Dachen Township
Dachen Township, belonging to Jiangshan City, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, covers an area of 30.71 square kilometers (2017), with 4580 mu of cultivated land and 25650 mu of forest land. It has 9 village committees including zaotianban, chicha, Datang, Longtan, Xiajia, Dachen, Beijiao, Nanjiao and Wulong, 49 natural villages, 53 villager groups and 7229 people (2017). Township government is located in zaotianban village maojia village. It is 7.5km away from the urban area in the southeast.
Historical evolution
In 1987, it was called dachengling Township, under the jurisdiction of Chengguan District. In May 1992, when the district was withdrawn to expand the town and the township was merged, dachengling township was not involved and was renamed dachengxiang, Zhili Jiangshan City. Dachen township is surrounded by mountains, so Dachen is also called Huanshan county.

It is located in hilly areas, with many limestone caves. The terrain is high in the northeast and low in the southwest, with the highest altitude of 815 meters and the lowest altitude of 110 meters. Dachen township is located on the watershed between Jiangshan and Changshan. Dachen stream, formerly known as Baixi, originates from the south slope of wujiajian, flows through Dachen in the southwest and flows into Changshan County in the northwest. Another Datang stream originates from wujialing of Sidu Town, flows through wuguishitougen in the southwest, passes through Datang in the northwest and enters Changshan County in tianjingtou.

The forest coverage rate accounts for 54.3% of the total area. The forest land is mainly composed of fir, pine and moso bamboo, supplemented by economic forests such as Camellia oleifera, citrus, loquat, chestnut and Myrica rubra. In addition to rich limestone, there are stone coal, purple stone and other mineral resources, rich in bluestone and landscape stone.

The township is located in the north of Jiangshan City, adjacent to Sidu town in the East, Shuangta street in the south, Tanshi town in the West and Changshan County in the north. Through 48 provinces, the transit highway runs through the countryside and connects the two cities and counties of Jiangshan and Changshan. There is urban and rural bus line 207 directly to the urban area.

The total output value of industrial and agricultural production is 79.29 million yuan, including 17.57 million yuan of agricultural output value, 61.72 million yuan of industrial output value, 3.75 million yuan of fiscal revenue, and 6121 yuan of average annual income of farmers.
Agriculture
The agricultural economy of Dachen township is represented by the "three special" of mushroom, red bayberry and orange. The characteristic benefit agricultural industry of edible fungus, red bayberry and orange has begun to take shape. In Nanjiao village, a professional base of one million bags of white mushroom has been formed, which integrates cultivation, production and processing. By 2006, 280 mushroom farmers have planted more than 2 million bags, and the output of the township has reached 1000 tons. There are 5 mushroom producers, with an annual output of 3 million bags. In Nanjiao, zaotianban, Xiajia and other villages, there are more than 1000 mu Dongkui waxberry base. Six villages, including Wulong, zaotianban, Xiajia, Datang, chicha and Longtan, have citrus bases of 3600 mu.
Industry
Industrial economy is mainly represented by limestone, landscape stone and bluestone. In 2006, the company successfully introduced comprehensive utilization of mineral resources, 4 new wall building materials, bamboo charcoal, agricultural products development enterprises, and introduced 6.95 million yuan of actual funds. there are 26 enterprises in the township, mainly producing cement, lime, slate, stone coal, etc. Dachen township is rich in mineral resources, with limestone storage capacity of 21.1 million cubic meters, landscape stone storage capacity of 105.55 million cubic meters and green stone storage capacity of 2.99 million cubic meters. The introduction of landscape talents and enterprises, relying on Zhejiang Yuhua group for early development, established Dachen landscape stone market.

By 2006, seven villages with a total length of 9.38 km have been completed in the Kangzhuang project. Apart from Longtan Village's plan to go down the mountain to get rid of poverty, every village has been basically connected with roads. The phenomenon of "dirty, chaotic and poor" in rural areas has been put under control. 819 toilets have been changed in the township, 10 public toilets have been newly built, and three villages, zaotianban, Beijiao and Dachen, have been rated as model villages of "ten village demonstration and one hundred village renovation" in the city, among which zaotianban village has been listed in the first batch of key renovation demonstration villages in the city.

Dachen township has a profound cultural heritage. Wang's ancestral hall and Wenchang Pavilion were both built in the first year of Tongzhi reign (1861) of the Qing Dynasty, covering an area of 1300 square meters. The ancestral hall is of brick and wood structure. It is exquisitely carved with flowers, birds, animals and lifelike. It was announced as the fifth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units by the provincial people's Government in March 2005. The teaching building of Cuiwen middle school, built in 1872, is a western style building with brick and wood structure. It covers an area of 1500 square meters and has a certain cultural value.
