Chengdonghu street, belonging to Yuhong District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, is located in the southeast of Hongqu district. It is bounded by chengdonghu street in the East and faces Yanfen street and Lingkong street in Tiexi District across the road. It is adjacent to Hunhe River in the South and Hunhe Station in Heping District across the river. It borders Nanyanghu street in the West and Kunming Lake Street in Tiexi District in the north, with a total area of 10.4 square kilometers.

In January 2007, chengdonghu Street governed 8 communities and 4 administrative villages: Sanlong, Tongtong, Jinsui, SHENLIAO Road, nongchang, nanliguan, Wangjia, Lunan, Dabao, Liguan, Zhengjia and Wangjia.

In 2009, Lunan community changed its name to Hongcheng community, farm community changed its name to huizeyuan community, Liguan community changed its name to shenshuiwan community, Jinsui community merged into bronze community, Wangjia community changed its name to Zijun East community, and two new communities, shuitiaoge city and Zijun West community, were formed. The four administrative villages of Liguan, Wangjia, Zhengjia and Dabao were abolished.
