Shouquan Street

Old street name. See. Shouquan street is located in the southwest of Huanggu District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It is adjacent to Huashan street in the East, Tiexi District in the south, Minglian street in the West and tawan street in the north. It governs five communities. Historical evolution

Shouquan street was built in 1955, changed to Shouquan commune in 1958, merged into tawan commune in 1960, belonged to Tianshan commune in 1962, established in 1965 and rebuilt in 1978. in 1996, it covers an area of 1.5 square kilometers and has a population of 15000. It governs nine neighborhood committees and is named after the ordinal number. In 2002, Shouquan sub district office was located at 52 Kunshan West Road, with a population of 17000 and an area of 0.72 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over three communities: Baohe, Shoushan and Tianshan. In 2007, Shouquan street, tawan street and the south part of Kunshan West Road were merged to form a new Shouquan street. The fourth is Yanhe street and Tongjiang street in the East, the railway boundary between Huanggu District and Tiexi District in the south, tawan street in the West and Kunshan West Road in the north. It covers an area of 1.68 square kilometers and has a total population of 31800. It governs six communities and its office is located at No. 11-1, Huaihe South Street. The area and population of Shouquan street after adjustment are relatively small, so it is mainly considered to reserve space for the relocation and reconstruction of locomotive and rolling stock factory. in 2019, Shouquan Street will be abolished, and the original administrative jurisdiction of Shouquan Street will be merged into Minglian street. Minglian Street office will be moved from No. 20 Cangshan Road, Huanggu District to No. 119-1 West Kunshan Road, Huanggu District.
