Bajing Street
Old street name. Bajing street is located in the north of Heping District, where the district government is located. It starts from the boundary between beisanjing street and Shenhe District in the East, ends at Shiyiwei road in the south, Nanjing North Street and Heping North Street in the west, and ends at Shifu Road in the north. It covers an area of 1.86 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 55058 (2010). There are seven communities in Baohuan, Heping new village, yan'anli, SHENDIAN, Lanling, Guilin and the municipal government. The office is located at 18 North Sijing street. Heping North Street, beisanjing street, Zhongshan Road, Shiyiwei Road, beiqima Road, Nanjing Street, Guilin street, etc.
In December 2019, Shenyang Civil Affairs Bureau issued the notice on adjusting the administrative divisions of some streets in Heping District and other 10 areas, canceling Bajing street and dividing its jurisdiction into Nanchi street.
Evolution of organizational system
In 1949, Bajing Street Branch of Nanshi District was built. In 1954, Bajing street was built. In 1958, it was changed into commune. In 1960, it was merged into Helu commune. In 1962, it was changed into Bajing road commune. In 1978, it was changed into Bajing street. In 1996, Bajing street covered an area of 1 square kilometer with a population of 35000. It has jurisdiction over 16 neighborhood committees, named after place names; Suichuan Street covers an area of 0.8 square kilometers, with a population of 27000. It has jurisdiction over 15 neighborhood committees. In 2002, Suichuan sub district office was located at No.7 beijiuma Road, with a population of 25600 and an area of 0.89 square kilometers, and seven communities were under the jurisdiction of Guiyang, telecom, municipal government, Beijiu, Beiqi, Sanjing and Guilin; Bajing sub district office was located at No.18 beisijing street, with a population of 35300 and an area of 0.96 square kilometers, and five communities were under the jurisdiction of Baohuan, SHENDIAN, Heping new village, Liaobo and yan'anli. In 2005, the south part of beiliuma road of Suichuan street was merged into Zhongshan Street (merged into Taiyuan street in 2007). In 2007, Suichuan street was merged into Bajing street, with an area of 1.78 square kilometers and a population of 61200. in December 2019, Shenyang Civil Affairs Bureau issued the announcement on adjusting the administrative divisions of some streets in Heping District and other 10 areas, canceling Bajing street and dividing its jurisdiction area into Nanchi street.
