Guangxingzhou town

Guangxingzhou town is located at the intersection of the Yangtze River and Dongting Lake. It is 30 kilometers away from Yueyang City and 18.3 kilometers along the Yangtze River. Historical evolution

The date of written records can be traced back to the fifth year of Kangxi (1666). Originally known as shaiwangzhou, it was a place for fishermen to live in shaiwangzhou. Later, more and more fishermen came ashore to settle down. During the Jiaqing period, they began to build embankments and gradually formed a small street nearly one mile long.
