Taohai town

Taohai town belongs to Wuyuan County, Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It covers an area of 331 square kilometers and has a population of 22985 (2017).

Bayantaohai town was established in 1981, merged with Baigen DaoHai town in 1985, and established with the approval of the autonomous region. Jinqi township was merged in 2001, and four villages of Fuxing town and Xiangyang Township were merged in 2005. Now bayantaohai town is the political, economic and cultural center in the southwest of Wuyuan, and also the external window of Wuyuan.

Administrative planning

It has jurisdiction over five neighborhood committees, namely Tuanjie, railway, Xiangyang, Hongguang and Fuxing; nine village committees, namely Hongfeng, SaiFeng, nanmaoan, Fenglei, Heping, Hongqi, jinxiutang, Jinqi and Xianxing.

Bayantaohai town is adjacent to the Yellow River in the south, facing Ordos, 230 kilometers away from ganqimao road of China Mongolia port. Main responsibilities

Bayantaohai town has five internal organizations:

Bayantaohai town has made steady progress in urban construction with unified planning, equal emphasis on construction and management.
