Mian town

Mianhe town is subordinate to Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, bordering Dujiangyan City in the East, gingko Township in the south, Caopo Township in the west, and Weizhou town in the north, 18 km away from Wenchuan County.

Climatic characteristics

Mian 虒 (MI á ns ī) town is located in the dry valley area of the upper reaches of Minjiang River, which is a high mountain and gorge landform. The climate has the characteristics of no severe cold in winter, no severe heat in summer, cold and dry, less rainfall, large evaporation and long sunshine time.

Mianhe town governs 14 villages, 44 villager groups and 1618 households. By the end of 2002, the town had 8588.45 mu of cultivated land and 1642.82 yuan of per capita net income. For a long time, the agricultural pattern of Mianhe Town, which mainly produces grain crops, is gradually improving. In the past, in the process of grain production, the level of industrialization was low and the content of agricultural science and technology was low. Some farmers, especially those in gaobanshan, still had difficulties in living. In this case, the government of Mianhe town increased the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, with "two bases" as the center. (i.e. pollution-free high-quality commodity vegetable base; high-quality water dried fruit base.) The combination of "planting, breeding and processing" (i.e. vigorously developing pig breeding, Korea Xinwen fruit processing plant) has vigorously developed the advantageous industries, and 3083 mu of high-quality and pollution-free vegetables have been built (including 2803 mu of sweet pepper, 180 mu of garlic seedling, and 100 mu of baiyuchun radish). High quality water dried fruit base has been built: 3020 mu. (including 1347 mu of European sweet cherry, 1330 mu of walnut, 110 mu of plum and 233 mu of local white cherry.) the town is rich in mineral resources: gypsum ore, with an annual output of more than 30000 tons; Hanbai jade ore, with an annual output of more than 50000 tons; albite ore, with an annual output of more than 20000 tons. tourist industry

In order to develop the local economy and carry forward the national culture, the town, with the support of the county government, launched a folk short-distance tourism centered on the first village of the Western Qiang nationality. It is characterized by the development of Qiang nationality culture, Qiang embroidery and local special products, and now receives about 30000 tourists.
