Man Gui Town

Mangui Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Genhe City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is the residence of Mangui Forestry Bureau, a national large-scale second grade forest industry enterprise. It is located in the north of Genhe City, on the west slope of the north of Daxinganling, bordering Tahe county and Mohe city of Heilongjiang Province in the East and northeast, facing Alongshan town in the South and Erguna city in the west, with an administrative area of 3902.95 square kilometers.

In August 1959, Inner Mongolia Daxinganling Forestry Administration decided that Genhe forestry bureau should be responsible for the preparation of the establishment of Mangui Forestry Bureau; in 1965, the establishment of Mangui Ewenki ethnic township; in 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Mangui town was changed to the people's Government of Mangui town. By the end of 2018, 14787 people had registered residence in the town. As of June 2020, Mangui town has three communities under its jurisdiction.

In 2011, the added value of financial industry in Mangui town was 50 million yuan, an increase of 10.2% over the previous year, and the tax revenue was 160000 yuan. In 2018, Mangui town had 3 industrial enterprises and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1959, Niuerhe Town People's Committee was established, and Mangui area was under the jurisdiction of Niuerhe people's Committee; in August of the same year, Inner Mongolia Daxinganling Forestry Administration decided that Genhe Forestry Bureau was responsible for the preparation of Mangui Forestry Bureau.

In 1961, the preparatory work of the forestry bureau was suspended and changed into a forestry unit.

In November 1962, the Preparatory Office of the forestry bureau was cancelled.

In 1964, the preparatory work of the Forestry Bureau resumed.

In 1965, the Manchu gwenk nationality township was established. The township government was stationed in Manchu gwenk, and the Manchu gwenk area was still under the jurisdiction of Niuerhe town.

After the establishment of Erguna Left Banner in 1966, the Manchu people's Committee of Ewenki nationality township was under the jurisdiction of Erguna Left Banner.

In 1968, the Revolutionary Committee of Mangui town was established, which was integrated with the township and stationed in Mangui.

On May 28, 1973, the Revolutionary Committee of Mangui town and the Revolutionary Committee of Aoluguya Ewenki nationality township were set up respectively. The residence of Aoluguya Ewenki township was moved to Aoluguya.

In 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of Mangui town was changed into the people's Government of Mangui town.

Mangui town is located in the southwest slope of the northern Daxinganling Mountains, surrounded by water on three sides. It is a valley plain basin formed by the confluence of the torrent River and the mengkuyi river. The terrain is long from east to west and short from north to south. The terrain inclines from east to southwest. It is high in the north and northeast, and low in the South and southwest. The general altitude is 717-1297 meters.

Mangui yikesama National Forest Park is located in Mangui Town, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, covering an area of 155.65 square kilometers. The park is adjacent to Mohe County, Heilongjiang Province in the north, Qiqian primeval forest in the northwest, and mordaoga National Forest Park in the southwest. The main scenic spots are: Alu primeval forest nature reserve, bird and animal reserve, Crescent Bay scenic area, Aoluguya international hunting ground and ningcui mountain scenic area.
