Mogui farm is located in Yakeshi City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. "Moguai", the Mongolian word for "MaoGai", means "where there are snakes". Mugui farm is located in the north of Yakeshi City, which is one of the three state-owned farms in Yakeshi city.

Mogui farm was under the management of Hailar agricultural reclamation (Group) Co., Ltd. in 2007, known as "Mogui branch". it is about 9 km away from Yakeshi city. It is located in the gentle slope hilly area at the West foot of Daxing'an Mountains, with an average altitude of 700 meters. It has a population of about 2000 and covers an area of 312 square kilometers, including 208000 mu of cultivated land, 244000 mu of grassland, and woodlands, hills and rivers. There is a field department in the territory, and there are six production teams outside the field department. at present, there are 755 large and medium-sized agricultural machinery and supporting farm tools. The main economic crops cultivated are wheat and rape, with an annual output of 70 million jin of high-quality wheat and "double low" rape. animal husbandry production centers on sheep farms and beef cattle farms, and builds a whole process traceability system to build a high-quality, safe and healthy meat industry base. The annual stock is 13000, with a total output of 3000 tons of milk and 240 tons of meat.

The territory has been proved to contain a large number of high-quality coal and perlite and other mineral resources. There are many kinds of wild animals in the territory, such as bear, roe deer, snow rabbit, Fox and wolf. However, due to the predatory hunting and killing in the last century, the number of wild animals is very small. In recent years, the state has strengthened the protection of wild animals, and they can be seen from time to time.
