Yadong Town, belonging to Arong Banner, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Arong Banner. It is adjacent to Molidawa Daur Autonomous Banner and Baoshan town in the East, Liuhe Town in the south, Chabaqi Ewenki Township in the west, and deliqier Ewenki Township in the north. It is 60 kilometers away from Arong Banner government, with a total administrative area of 586.89 square kilometers.

In 1956, the area of Yadong town was set up as the Gini district; in 1984, it was changed from the Gini commune to Yadong town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Ya Dong town was 30555. In 2019, Yadong town governs 2 communities and 20 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Yadong town.

In 2018, Yadong town has 27 industrial enterprises and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1956, the district was set up as the Gini district.

In 1958, it was changed to the GNY commune.

In 1984, GNI commune was changed into Yadong town.
