Sharihaolai town

Sharihaolai Town, belonging to Naiman Banner, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Naiman Banner, adjacent to Xinzhen in the East, Qinglongshan town in the south, baoguotu Township, Fanghan banner, Chifeng City in the southwest, yilongyong town in the West and huanghuatalasumu in the north. In October 1958, shalihaolai commune was established. In May 1983, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built. In December 1984, the township government changed Sha Rihao to Sumu. In August 2001, Sumu was changed into an established town. In June 2006, jiantuchengzi town. In July 2007, Tuchengzi town was renamed sharihaolai town. As of June 2020, sharihaolai town has 14 administrative villages.

Historical evolution

In the early years of the Republic of China, it belonged to Neiman banner, Inner Mongolia Second District and Han Fifth District.

During the Japanese puppet period, it was under the jurisdiction of shalihaolai village and haota village.

In March 1946, shalihaolainutuk (District) was established.

In September 1948, it was renamed the Fifth District.

In August 1956, a district was set up to belong to shalihaolai township.

In October 1958, shalihaolai commune was established.

In May 1983, the commune was withdrawn and the township was built.

In December 1984, the township was transformed into Sumu, known as sarihao, and the government's residence remained unchanged.

In August 2001, Sumu was changed into an established town.

In June 2006, sharihaolai town was merged with 7 villages in Tuchengzi Town, which was called Tuchengzi town.

In July 2007, Tuchengzi town was renamed sharihaolai town.
