Zang Zhai township is located in the north of Ying County, with huanghualing in the west, Sanggan River in the East and Huairen in the north. The township has 28 administrative villages, 6695 households, 24321 people.

Zang Zhai township is the largest township in Yingchuan District of Shanxi Province. The land area is 193.76 square kilometers, and the cultivated land area is 107000 mu. Yingtong (Yingxian to Datong), zuosha (Zuoyun to fanzhisha) highway runs through the whole Township from north to south, east to west, and rural highways extend in all directions. The province's north-south traffic artery, Dayun Expressway runs through the territory, and the exit is located in Mazhuang village. Zangzhai township is also a big grain and sugar (sugar beet) Township in Ying county. In normal years, the whole Township produces 55-60 million kilograms of grain and 30-40 million tons of sugar beets. It is rich in corn, sunflower, millet and other crops. It is a big animal husbandry Township in the county. At present, there are 5 forage bases with an area of more than 1000 mu, 1 breeding Park for 1000 cows, and 2 large livestock products processing enterprises (Great Wall Garden, Guixiang slaughtering company).
