Liangjiazi Township

Liangliangzi township is the abbreviation of liangliangzi Manchu Township. It is located in the north of Changyi District, Jilin City, 50 kilometers away from the city center. It borders Tuchengzi Township in the East, huapichang town in the south, Zuojia town in the West and mushihe town in Jiutai City in the north. The township government is located in two villages with a total area of 160.72 square kilometers, of which 8% are plains, 44% are hills and 48% are mountains. It governs 13 administrative villages including Liangjiazi, Lishu, Heibei, Wenquan, Zhangjia, Litun, Heishan, penyao, LUOQI, Taishan, liutiaogou, Liuxi and gengtun, 102 natural villages with 5100 households and a total population of 18719. It has 4500 hectares of arable land and 5300 hectares of mountainous area. It is a typical semi mountainous area with fertile soil and is suitable for the development of breeding and breeding. Although liangliangzi township is located in the northern border of Changyi District, it is an agricultural township with convenient transportation and complete communication facilities.

The whole rural area of liangliangzi township is the area of Changbai Mountain in the east of Jilin Province, with hilly slope as the main topographical feature, with high mountains and plains, and abundant vegetation. The township covers an area of 160.72 square kilometers, with 5500 hectares of arable land, including 4649 hectares of registered land and 851 hectares of wasteland; the township has 8000 hectares of mountainous land, including 7000 hectares of woodland, mainly natural forest, with only 557 hectares of plantation. There is one of the largest national small-scale reservoirs in Changyi District, Wenquan reservoir, with a storage capacity of about 4 million cubic meters. In the mountain area from Lishu village to Wenquan village, there are limestone and gold deposits, which have been partially mined. Among the mountains of the two villages, Jiguan mountain is well-known and has become a natural tourist attraction in spring.

Traffic conditions

There is one county-level highway in liangliangzi Township, namely Jiutai City to huapichang town via Liangzi (Jilin Changbei line); one township level main road, namely liangliangzi to Jilin City via Tuchengzi township; and nine village level highways.
