Dongla Township

Dongla Township, Gongga County, Shannan City, Tibet, is one of the three townships of five towns in Gongga county. Dongla Township governs six village committees: Gongga village, dongla village, Gangba village, Youjun village, Zhilong village and Jiqiong village.

Before 1987, it was dongla district. In 1988, after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it belonged to Zhilong Township and guangga Township respectively. In 1996, Zhilong Township had a population of 18000, governing Jiqiong and Zhilong two administrative villages; guangga Township had a population of 21000, governing ganba, Yuejun and dongla three administrative villages.
