Xiaojieji town

Xiaojieji Town, belonging to Kailu County, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the northeast of Kailu County, bordering Keerqin district and Keerqin Left Wing Middle Banner in the East, Jianhua town in the west, Dongfeng Town in the South and Zhalute banner in the north. The area is 802.95 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, 52850 people registered residence.

In 1956, it was called xiaojieji township. In 1958, it was changed into a people's commune. In 1984, xiaojieji town was set up. As of June 2020, xiaojieji town has 35 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.

By the end of 2018, there were 2 industrial enterprises in xiaojieji Town, including 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 132 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

During the period of the Republic of China and the puppet Manchuria, it belonged to two districts.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was divided into six districts.

In 1956, it was called xiaojieji township.

In 1958, it was changed into a people's commune.

In 1984, xiaojieji town was set up.

At the end of 2000, the former Qianhe township was merged into the city.

In February 2006, the former two townships of Xing'an and sankeshu were merged.

Xiaojieji town is located in the southwest of Songliao plain, the terrain is low in the middle and high in the north and south. The lowest point is 200 meters above sea level; the highest point is 228 meters above sea level.

Xiaojieji town belongs to the continental monsoon climate of north temperate zone, which is characterized by 5 months in winter, cold and dry, hot and short in summer. The annual average temperature is 7 ℃, and the maximum rainfall is 400mm. The annual average frost free period is 136 days. The rainfall is concentrated from July to August every year.

hydrology

In xiaojieji Town, Xinkai River passes through the town, with a length of 30 kilometers. Since 2001, no water has dried up.
