Fengku Ranch

Fengku ranch is located in the east of KeZuoZhong banner, 25 kilometers north of Baokang Town, where the banner government is located. It borders Changling County of Jilin Province in the East, Baokang town in the south, dailiji town in the west, and tubuxinsumu in the north.

In July 2020, the National Patriotic Health Association decided to name Fengku ranch as a national health township for the period of 2017-2019.

The climate is characterized by north temperate continental climate, with windy spring, hot and rainy summer, dry autumn and cold winter. The frost free period is about 135 days and the rainfall is 200-400mm. The terrain of the whole site is high in the West and low in the East. On the whole, the marshland, depression, saline alkali land, grassland and water surface are mixed. The soil is sandy loam and chestnut soil. The total land area is 124000 mu, including 50000 mu of cultivated land, 50000 mu of pasture (including 10000 mu of natural water surface and reed pond) and 15000 mu of woodland. There are four sub fields under the jurisdiction of the whole field, with a total population of 3980 and 890 households. The Mongolian and Han nationalities account for 50% respectively, including 1452 formal employees.

Fengku ranch has advantageous geographical location and convenient transportation. The railway has tongrang line and pingqi line passing through the site. The main objectives and tasks of the economic development of the whole farm are as follows: to add 4000 mu of high-efficiency water-saving irrigation; to build 10000 mu of high-yield grain field and 1000 mu of corn under mulch drip irrigation; to establish an agricultural machinery cooperative; to build a straw cattle raising demonstration village and a large-scale breeding community with 14000 cattle; to build 200 mu of facility agriculture (including 50 mu of solar greenhouse and 150 mu of plastic greenhouse) with special planting The number of sugar beets reached 2000 mu; the construction of forestry ecology was completed, and the new feed base was built; 979 rural labors were transferred, 112 were trained, and the labor export income reached 17.63 million yuan, solving the poverty problem of 840 people in 200 households; 117 rural houses were transformed.
