Huangyangwa town covers an area of 575.37 square kilometers and has a population of 25432 (2017). The people's Government of the town is located in huangyangwa.

Since October 20, a 10-30 meter wide fire isolation belt was set up by mechanical ploughing. This work is being implemented.
