Changshou Road Street

Changshou Road sub district was established on October 23, 1991. It is a combination of the former Putuo road sub district and Jiaozhou Road sub district. It is under the jurisdiction of the former Putuo road and Jiaozhou Road sub district offices. In April 2000, the jurisdiction of Putuo District was adjusted, and some plots of Shiquan Street, Baiyu street and Dongxin Street were incorporated into Changshou Road street. Changshou Road street is located in the downtown area of Shanghai, Southeast of Putuo District. It is the only street across the Suzhou River in the city. The street area starts from Zhongshan North Road in the north, ends at the junction of Anyuan road and Jing'an District in the south, faces Jing'an with Suzhou River in the East, and borders Changning District with Wanhangdu back road in the West. It covers an area of 3.98 square kilometers and has 31 neighborhood committees with a total population of 128647 (2010).
