Hainan Township, belonging to hailun City, Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of hailun city. It faces shuangchahe Town, keyinhe Township, Jinshan Township and Houtou township of Suiling County across keyinhe River in the East, Sanjing town of Suihua Beilin District in the south, Gongrong town in the West and Leye Township in the north. The township government is located in Hainan village. The area is 138.74 square kilometers (2018).

Keyin river is 15 kilometers long in Hainan Township, with a drainage area of 62 square kilometers. It flows through Qunshan village, Hebei village, Dongxin village and Sanquan village. After all the water in the ditches is collected, one part flows into keyin River to the East, and the other part flows into Lianfeng reservoir to the West.
