Yuxi Township

Luolong County, Changdu City, Tibet governs the township and five village committees, namely Yuxi village, Ba village, Laka village, seran village and larao village.

It is located in the southwest of Changdu city and the east of Luolong County, 65 kilometers away from the county.

Located in the middle reaches of Nujiang River in Luolong County, it is a high mountain canyon landform.

The township covers an area of 343.95 square kilometers.

In 2017, there were 1321 people in the township.

Barley, wheat and rape are planted and yak, cattle, goat and sheep are raised.

Historical evolution

Yuxi township was established in 1959, changed to commune in 1970, and restored to township in 1984.

On December 18, 2020, the bid winning announcement of larao village to seran village highway project in Yuxi township of Luolong county was issued. The construction content is to transform the road with a total length of 3408 meters, concrete pavement with a width of 4.5 meters, and the planned investment is more than 7 million yuan.

On February 9, 2021, the bidding announcement for the construction of Yuxi Township flood dike project in Luolong county was issued. The construction contents include the construction of 3513 meters of new flood dike, 7 New River steps, 4 drainage culverts and 4 drainage culverts.
