Anmin township is located in the southwest border of Songyang County, at the junction of Daotai Township, Longquan City. The township government is located in dapankeng village, 54 kilometers away from the county seat. With a total area of 96 square kilometers, 7657 hectares of forest land, 133 hectares of arable land, 83% of forest coverage and an average altitude of 800 meters, the township is a key forest Township in the county.
