Tongjiang town is under the jurisdiction of Jingyang District, Deyang City, Sichuan Province, with an area of 31 square kilometers and a total population of 10483.

Since 1992, the government of Tongjiang town has held a plum flower fair every year, which has gradually matured and shaped the club. The association is held once a year. At present, there are 452 mu of high-quality big white plum in the town, more than 120000 plum trees distributed in 4 villages and 17 villager groups on both sides of Kaijiang River, 8 high-quality plum varieties, and the annual output of plum is more than 250000 kg. In March 1998, the plum blossom festival was renamed as "Deyang plum blossom Folk Culture Festival". With cultural connotation, tourists from all over the world flocked to the festival. Folk cultural activities such as setting free, setting off river lanterns, competing in mountain songs, paying homage to relatives and beating plums attracted many participants. In 2005, the town's total income from diversified operation was 82 million yuan, including 15800 pigs, 572800 livestock and poultry, 490000 kg of eggs, 162000 kg of adult fish, 008 beef cattle, 1374600 kg of fruit, an increase of 3.2%; the total planting area of vegetables was 10082 mu (including multiple cropping), including 2300 mu of pollution-free vegetables, with a total output of 14.3013 million kg, an income of 1.35 million yuan.
