Sanjing Township
Sanjing township is located in the south of Xintian County, 14 kilometers away from the city, covering an area of 29.07 square kilometers. It is connected with Xinxu town in the East, Shiyang town in the south, Jiantou town in the West and Mao hometown in the north.

Xintu highway runs through the north and south of the county, and the highway is open to all villages. Jiansan highway connects the county tourism group.
General situation
At the end of 2003, the total population was 15600. It has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages and 141 villager groups in sanjingwei, tanwenxi, Shangfeng, Gaofeng, Tangping, changchong, Luojiaping, chetoushui, shaiyuping, tangfufang, caojiawo, youmaling, youcaotang, lilidong, shanxiadong, shiyantou, shanxiashan and Qixianshan. Sanjing township is a typical agricultural township, with a total cultivated land of 9961 mu, including 7475 mu of paddy field. There is a famous big cave under the mountain, and the main water conservancy facilities are dam and reservoir, which is rich in water resources. Rich in grain, tobacco, especially in recent years, the rapid development of high-quality tobacco, covering an area of more than 4000 mu, the output of more than 10000 Dan, Xintian has become a veritable flue-cured tobacco town. In 2004, Daba reservoir power station was rebuilt by attracting investment, which is one of the largest hydropower stations in the county.
Historical evolution
The natural place name of the township is still used. Sanjing is named after three wells in front of the village. At the beginning of liberation, the village belonged to the fourth district. In 1956, sanjingwei township was set up after the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Shiyang commune. In 1961, Mitsui commune was established from Shiyang commune. In 1984, Mitsui commune was abolished and Mitsui township was established.
