Xinhua township of Tianquan County is located 19 kilometers north of Tianquan County, bordering Lushan County, Yongsheng, Renyi, Duogong and LAOCHANG. The township covers an area of 32.58 square kilometers. The township is located in a shallow hill. LAOCHANG river flows from west to east to Lushan river through Yongsheng to Sanjiangkou.
