Hexi Town

Hexi Town, subordinate to guide County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Guide county. It is adjacent to Heyin Town, Hedong Township and Changmu town in the East, Xinjie Hui Township in the south, guomaying town in Guinan County in the west, Laxiwa town and Garang Township in the North, 2.5km away from the county seat and 113km away from Xining, the provincial capital, with a total administrative area of 498.35km2.

In 1956, dangche and Hexi Township were set up in Hexi Town. In September 2001, Hexi township was replaced by Hexi Town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Hexi Town was 24990. In 2019, Hexi Town governs one community and 29 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 7 industrial enterprises in Hexi Town, including 2 above scale and 32 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1956, set up when the car, Hexi township.

In 1961, the two townships were divided into the same year, Hexi and Helga communes.

In 1965, the three communes merged into Hexi commune.

In 1984, Hexi commune was changed into Hexi township.

In September 2001, Hexi township was replaced by Hexi Town.
