Hexi community is located on the South Bank of Xifei River, adjacent to WeiMiao village in the East, Guotou Xinji No.2 mine (Huajiahu mine) and Huajiahu community in the west, and South Maozhang highway. There are 7 resident groups in the area, with a cultivated area of 3182 Mu and a permanent population of 3217 and 98 Party members.

The Hexi community and neighborhood committee is responsible for the daily affairs of residents in the area under its jurisdiction. It has established a community party branch, a community council committee, a mediation committee, and a governance and Security Committee. It has an office of the community and neighborhood committee, a police office, a family planning service station, a party member activity room, a school for the elderly, a floating population management office, and other organizations, with a total office space of about 360 square meters.
