Xiangyang Community is located in the northwest of kuiying street, Zhongshan District, Dalian city. It borders Dalian Liulian hotel in the north and Kunming Street in Zhongshan District; Dalian traditional Chinese medicine hospital in the South and Dalian No.2 Middle School; Jiefang Road in the East, xianlihuayuan mountain in the West and Shidao street in Xigang District.

There is one road (307-319 section of Jiefang Road), one street (2-79 Xiangyang Street), three lanes (5-72 Xianli lane, 2 Yijie lane, 91-100 Xishan lane, 102-121 Xishan Lane). The office of Xiangyang Community Neighborhood Committee is located at No. 60, Xianli lane, Zhongshan District. The office area is 360 square meters. Set up office, police area, activity room, library, reading room, donation center, service center, etc. Office conditions are perfect, facilities are basically complete, to meet the requirements of Dalian community hardware construction. Xiangyang Community Neighborhood Committee consists of 17 staff members, including 3 CPC members, 3 undergraduates, 3 junior college students and 7 senior high school students, with an average age of 46. There are 2245 permanent residents and 6660 people in Xiangyang Community, including 1538 women of childbearing age; 1241 people who have transferred their retirement relationship to the community and 358 people who have transferred their party organization relationship to the community; 50 families with special poverty, 85 disabled people and 1360 laid-off workers. the industry units in the community mainly include: Dalian hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, Xiangyang primary school, Dalian small boiler factory, Dalian security company and Haichang Huacheng. The more prosperous area of the community is on the west side of Jiefang Road, with hospitals, banks, shops, restaurants and other service industry units, but on the whole, the community is an intensive residential area. since 2000, Xiangyang Community Neighborhood Committee has been successively awarded the titles of "advanced community organization for reemployment", "advanced group of learning from Lei Feng", "advanced group of family planning", "advanced unit for the disabled in Liaoning Province", "advanced community for the disabled in Dalian city" and so on.
