Red Star Community

Red Star community, formerly known as Suei village, is located on the west side of Nanbin road diving hall. It is surrounded by green hills on three sides and faces the sea on one side. It is adjacent to Jinshi 4A scenic spot and connects with Shantou sub central area (Nanbin area). It faces north district across the sea with beautiful mountains and elegant environment. Shantou Bay Tunnel is named as Suai tunnel after the village.

The community is divided into five resident groups, with 308 households, 1332 people and 35 party members.

Community economy

The community mainly focuses on the development of radish and other vegetable planting and breeding industry. It is certified as a pollution-free vegetable production base by the province and belongs to the pure agriculture community association. The community area is about 1.47 square kilometers, including 1401 mu of mountain forest, 206.5 mu of village land, 538.563 mu of film and television city project and 151 mu of self reserved land. At present, the Municipal Welfare Center project located in the west of the district is about to start construction, and the whole village is suitable for the development of green agriculture, eco-tourism, high-grade housing, pollution-free enterprises, etc.
