Jiajiazhuang Town, Fenyang City, Shanxi Province is located in the northeast of Fenyang City, 4 kilometers away from the city government. It covers an area of 48.44 square kilometers and has a population of 23098 (2017). The town government is located in jiajiazhuang village, Fenyang City, Shanxi Province. It is located at the east foot of Luliang and the West Bank of Fenhe River. It is five kilometers away from Fenyang ancient city, close to Qingyin Expressway and 307 National Road, and adjacent to Xinghua village, the world-famous capital of Fenjiu. Jiajiazhuang town is one of 47 national garden towns in China.

On December 24, 2019, it will be included in the list of national rural governance demonstration towns.

Historical evolution

Jiajiazhuang commune was established in 1958, township was set up in 1984, and township was set up in 1994.

On June 22, 1984, the commune system of Fenyang county was changed into township system, and jiajiazhuang commune was changed into jiajiazhuang township.

On May 28, 1995, jiajiazhuang township was set up as a town.

In 2001, Fenyang City carried out the work of merging towns and townships. In this adjustment, Guzhuang village, caoxingzhuang village, beiguanyuan village and zichengfang village of jiajiazhuang town were included in taiheqiao street.

Jiajiazhuang town has a national AAAA tourist attraction - jiajiazhuang cultural and Ecological Tourism Zone in Fenyang City: to the south of jiajiazhuang Avenue is an agricultural science and Technology Park, with various crops arranged in Fengzi shape, classified by blocks, alternating high and low, excellent varieties and fruitful results. To the north of the avenue, there are archery field for people to play, colorful flower garden and neat and dense nursery jungle. At the east end of the avenue, near the waterfall, there is a semi garden square. Two novel pigeon gardens are symmetrically located in the square.
