Tianlin Township

Tianlin township is located in the southwest of Langzhong City, Sichuan Province, 18 kilometers away from the urban area. Xihe River, Wenmiao River and Shilong river flow through the territory. It has an area of 38.6 square kilometers, a population of 8706 (2017), and a cultivated area of 12300 mu. Four distinct seasons, subtropical monsoon climate, with unique agricultural location advantages. With an average altitude of 440 meters, it has six administrative villages, including feifeng town in the East, Tiangong Township in the south, Shengzhong Town, Wannian town and Yonghong Township in the south, Zaojiao Township in the South and Zhiping Township in the city. There are 3A level tourist attractions "Wulong Village Rural Tourism Demonstration Area", Nanchong party spirit education base "general Du Guanghua's hometown" and other tourism resources, as well as Miao Yuanjia mast, qiaolou village tree monument, qiaolou village martyrs memorial tower, Jing's tombstone group, Deng's ancestral hall and other historic sites.

Historical evolution

Tianlin township is named after Tianning Temple (wrongly named Tianlin Temple). In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Chunfeng Township, in the Qing Dynasty, Chongde Township, Fengming Township in 1940, Fengyi Township in 1951, Tianlin Township in 1984, Tiangong Township in 1992, and Tianlin Township in 1994. In 2019, the province will enter Tiangong town.
