Xihe town

Xihe Town, subordinate to Wujiang District, Shaoguan City, Guangdong Province, is located in the northwest of Wujiang District, with Wujiang River in the East, Xilian town in the west, Paradise town and Shaoguan Smelter in Zhenjiang District in the south, Chongyang town and Lishi town in Zhenjiang District in the north. It is located at the confluence of Zhenjiang and Wujiang rivers, covering an area of 63 square kilometers.

Xihe town has always been the camp of Shaoguan garrison. In November 1986, Lixihe township was established. In August 2004, Lixihe town was established. At the end of 2018, the registered residence population of Xihe town was 20665. As of June 2020, Xihe town has 14 administrative villages. The Township People's government is located at No. 10, Furong North Third Road.

The majority of the population in Xihe town is Cantonese. Loupo voice is mainly distributed in Xiangyang Village, cuntou village and Dacun village. Liantan dialect is mainly distributed in Xiaba village of Shiyuan and Zhongba village of Huanglong.
