Longcanggou town is located in the south end of Yingjing County, 102 ° 50 ˊ E and 29 ° 41 ˊ n. Historical evolution

In Qing Dynasty, it was a spur dike under the jurisdiction of Qinghua township.

In 1936, it was under the jurisdiction of Shizi United protection.

In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it was called Shizi Township, with a total of seven Baotou.

In the 34th year of the Republic of China (June 26, 1945), "Shizi township" was renamed "Jinghe township".

In April 1951, when the rural people's political power was established, Shizi and Jinghe townships were set up respectively. Shizi village governs five villages of liberation, turning over, happiness, Wannian and development, and Jinghe village governs six villages of unity, victory, welfare, Tongxin, Taiping and Anle.

In January 1956, Taiping Village (rexigou) was assigned to Wuxian township. In the same year, the Township People's government was changed to the Township People's Committee.

In 1958, Shizi people's commune was established, under which four production management areas, Wannian, Tuanjie, development and happy, were under its jurisdiction. In 1961, the management area was changed into a production brigade.

On October 10, 1968, the Shizi commune Revolutionary Committee was established with the approval of the CPC Yingjing County People's armed forces Committee.

On January 12, 1981, with the approval of the county government, the Revolutionary Committee of Shizi commune was changed into the Management Committee of Shizi commune.

In 1983, the CPC Committee of Shizi commune changed its name to the CPC Committee of Shizi township.

In August 2006, the work of merging towns with townships was started. Yangwan village, Yuquan village and Gangshang village of Huangyi Township were merged with Shizi Township, and Shizi township was renamed longcanggou township.

In May 2012, with the approval of the Department of civil affairs of Sichuan Province, longcanggou was withdrawn from the township and merged into the town.
