Baishan town belongs to Longjiang County, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. It is located in the southeast of Longjiang County, adjacent to heigang Township in the East, Huamin Township and Guanghou Township in the southeast and south, Jingxing town and Shanquan town across the river in the west, and Longjiang Town in the north. The total administrative area of Baishan town is 274.54 square kilometers. In 2019, Baishan town governs 8 administrative villages. Historical evolution
Baishan town is famous for its rich clay.
In 1946, dongbaitu village was set up, belonging to three districts of Longjiang County. In 1956, it was changed into Baishan township.
In 1958, Kaoshan township was merged; in September, Houdao township was merged.
In 1962, it was changed into Baishan Commune: later it was divided into Baishan commune and heigang commune.
In 1984, Baishan commune was transformed into Baishan township.
On February 7, 2014, Baishan township was officially withdrawn and rebuilt into Baishan town.
