Shahe zi Town, belonging to Wuchang City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang, is located in the southeast of Wuchang City, adjacent to Hailin, and the border between Dunhua and Jiaohe, Jilin, and west to Jilin City, Shulan, north to Xiangyang town. In 2018, the area was 223.32 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 31828.

In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Chongli township of Wuchang Prefecture. In the Republic of China, it was the third district of Wuchang county. In 1958, the township changed into a commune. In February 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. In May 1985, the township was transformed into a town. As of October 2019, Shahezi town has jurisdiction over 13 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 20 industrial enterprises in Shahezi Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 70 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
