Shitouhezi Town, which belongs to Shangzhi City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southeast of Shangzhi City, at the West foot of zhangguangcailing, on the upper reaches of Maliu River, adjacent to Hengdaohezi town of Hailin City in the East and south, zhuzhushan Township and Yabuli town in the west, and Yuchi Korean Township in the north. In 2018, the area of the stone river town was 110.09 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 13655.

During the period of Japanese occupation, stone town was set up.

In 1945, it was changed into Shitouhezi District of Weihe County, and then it was transferred to Shangzhi county.

In February 1956, it was renamed District 14.

In May 1956, it was changed into Shitouhezi township.

In 1958, the township changed into a commune.

In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

In 1985, the township was transformed into a town.

It is adjacent to Hengdaohezi town of Hailin City in the East and south, zhenzhushan Township and Yabuli town in the West and Yuchi Korean Township in the north. In 2018, the area of Shitouhezi town is 110.09 square kilometers.

Shitouhezi town is located in the middle mountain area at the West foot of zhangguangcai mountain, with high terrain in the southeast and low terrain in the northwest. There are 18 peaks, the highest point in the territory is huosaw mountain, with an altitude of 1136.4 meters.

The rivers in Shitouhezi town belong to Songhua River system. The rivers are Shitouhe River and Huangni River, the tributaries of the upper reaches of Mazi River, with a drainage area of 512 square kilometers.
