Mulan Town, belonging to Mulan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Mulan County, adjacent to nonghe town of Tonghe County in the East, ferry town of Bin County in the south, Shengli town across the river, Jixing Township in the West and Jianguo Township in the north. In 2017, the area was 131.88 square kilometers, with 13199 permanent residents.
Qing Shunzhi three years (1646), belong to angbang Zhangjing, Tongzhi first year (1862), belong to Hulan Hall (Bayan County). In 1913, it belonged to suilan road of Heilongjiang Province. In 1945, it belonged to Harbin North special area. In September 1958, it was changed into Mulan town commune. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a town. By the end of 2019, Mulan town has 7 communities and 9 administrative villages.
