Wangjiagou Township, Liulin County, Shanxi Province, formerly known as xiwangjiagou Township, is different because it used to belong to Lishi and there is Wangjiagou in the east of Lishi. After the establishment of Liulin County, because there is no village of the same name in the county, it is called Wangjiagou township. Located in the northwest of the county, it is connected with Qikou town and Gaojiashan township of Linxian County in the north, covering an area of 56.77 square kilometers, with a population of 12619. It governs 39 villager committees, 46 natural villages and 94 villager groups. The Township People's government is located in Wangjiagou village, which was once the residence of Wangjiagou people's commune after 1958, and later merged with Liujiashan Township, 31.5km away from Liulin town. The township is located in helonggou Valley, with abundant underground coal resources and good coal quality. The cultivated land area is 41357.7 mu, the annual average temperature is 9.9 ℃, the annual precipitation is 480 mm, and the frost free period is 184 days.
