Jiangnan Town

Yibin City is located in the south of the Yangtze River, under the jurisdiction of 15 villages and towns. It covers an area of 41.52 square kilometers and has a total population of 11498 (2017).

On August 24, 2019, the people's Government of Sichuan Province approved the adjustment of administrative divisions of some towns in Yibin City: cancel Ma's hometown and put its administrative area under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan Town, where the people's Government of Jiangnan Town is stationed at No. 12 Jiangzheng street.

General situation of villages and towns

Jiangnan Town is located in the south of Nanxi District, Yibin City, on the South Bank of the Yangtze River, adjacent to Changning County in the East, xiachang town of Changning County in the south, Ma's hometown in the west, and the Yangtze River in the north.

The town has 15 administrative villages and 92 villager groups. It covers an area of 41.52 square kilometers. The total population is 11498 (2017). In 2002, the GDP reached 60.1 million yuan, including 28.99 million yuan for the primary industry, 11 million yuan for the secondary industry, and 2011 million yuan for the tertiary industry; the total output value of township enterprises was 8.7 million yuan, and the general budget revenue was 23000 yuan; the total grain output was 11977 tons; and the per capita net income of farmers was 2378 yuan.
