Liuhe Town
Liuhe Town, belonging to Mulan County, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Mulan County, at the southern foot of the Mongolian mountains of Xiaoxing'an Mountains. On the North Bank of the middle reaches of Songhua River, it is adjacent to Jixing Township and Lidong town in the East, Songhua River in the south, Xindian town and Minhe township of Bin County across the river, bayangang town and Longquan town of Bayan County in the west, and Mongolian mountain and Dagui town in the north. In 2018, Liuhe Town area was 365.5 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 37131.
In the first year of Xuantong (1909), it belonged to three districts. In 1946, it merged with Shihe to form Liushi district. In March 1956, it was divided into three townships: Liuhe, Xiangshan and Shihe. In May 1961, it was divided into Shihe and Liuhe communes. In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a town.
By the end of 2019, Liuhe Town has one street and 12 administrative villages.

In 1946, it merged with Shihe to form Liushi district.
In 1947, it was renamed District 5.
In March 1956, it was divided into three townships: Liuhe, Xiangshan and Shihe.
In September 1958, the three townships were merged into Liushi commune.
In May 1961, it was divided into Shihe and Liuhe communes.
In March 1984, the commune was transformed into a town.
In March 2001, Shihe township was incorporated.
