Da'an Town

Da'an Town, subordinate to Ledong Li Autonomous County of Hainan Province, is located in the southeast of Ledong Li Autonomous County, adjacent to Zhizhong town in the East, Qianjia town in the south, Baoyou town in the West and Sanping village in the north. The administrative area of the town is 137.37 square kilometers.

In 1952, Da'an township was under the jurisdiction of a district. In the summer of 1961, Da'an Township separated from Baoyou commune and established Da'an commune. In 1962, the Da'an commune moved to Dabao village. In July 2002, Da'an township was merged with nanmu, Zhichao and GABA administrative villages of Zhizhong to form Da'an Town. By the end of 2018, Da'an Town had a registered residence population of 30611. As of June 2020, Da'an Town has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of the town is located in Da'an village.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of Daan town was 866400 yuan, an increase of 62.92% over the previous year. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 484000 yuan, enterprise income tax is 19900 yuan, and individual income tax is 8200 yuan. By the end of 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Da'an Town and nine supermarkets or comprehensive stores with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Ming Wanli 44 years (1616), belongs to Le'an City, Li Yazhou.

Qing Kangxi 28 years (1689), belongs to le'anying.

In 1934, it belonged to the office of the Commissioner of QiongYa.

In May 1935, it belonged to Le'an county. In September of the same year, it belonged to Ledong Li Autonomous County and Hainan Li and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Guangdong Province.

In 1952, Da'an township was under the jurisdiction of a district.

In the summer of 1961, Da'an Township separated from Baoyou commune and established Da'an commune.

In 1962, the Da'an commune moved to Dabao village.

In July 2002, Da'an township was merged with nanmu, Zhichao and GABA administrative villages of Zhizhong to form Da'an Town.
