Tiaosanta sub district office, referred to as tiaosanta sub district, is located in the core area of Renmin South Road Science and technology business district in the south of Chengdu. The current jurisdiction area is from Chengdu Jinjiang in the north to the second ring road in the south, Xinnan road and Kehua North Road in the East, and Renmin South Road in the west, with an area of about 2.6 square kilometers and a permanent population of 69153 (2010).

There are many colleges and universities such as West China Campus of Sichuan University and Rennan campus of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, as well as scientific research institutes such as Chengdu Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the second Research Institute of CAAC and Southwest Institute of physics. The office is located at No. 6, Shenglong street. There are seven communities in the area: zongnan, Zongbei, Chengke Road, branch of science and technology, Nanhong village, tourist village and Xinnan road.

Historical evolution

The office was established on April 1, 1984. In 1997, with an area of 1 square kilometer and a population of 24000, it has jurisdiction over six neighborhood committees, namely moziqiao, Jinxiu street, Chengke Road, Zongsan, Hejia garden and South Railway Station. In 2007, it was divided into Xinnan Road community and tourist village community under the jurisdiction of Zhimin Road, and most of Nanhong village community and Xiaotianzhu community under the jurisdiction of Xiaotianzhu street. After adjustment, the jurisdiction area is 2.6 square kilometers and the population is 69153 (2010). The office is still at 6 Shing Lung Street.

Street structure

Parachute tower is the most famous science and technology business district in Chengdu. There are many colleges and universities such as West China Campus of Sichuan University, Rennan campus of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, Chengdu Institute of education, Sichuan Institute of economic management, as well as more than 10 scientific research institutes such as Chengdu Branch of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the second Research Institute of CAAC and Southwest Institute of physics, which provide technical and intellectual support for the construction of harmony in the jurisdiction. Huitong building, Libao building, Weston federal building, science and Technology Digital Plaza and many other financial institutions, such as the Chengdu Branch of the people's Bank of China, highlight the headquarters gathering effect of Renmin South Road Science and technology business district. Chengdu Science and Technology Street, the second largest computer monopoly market in China, has attracted many well-known IT enterprises at home and abroad, and achieved a prosperous IT industry with "Zhongguancun in the north and moziqiao in the South". Parachute tower area is the most famous concentration area of foreign affairs and military institutions in Chengdu. It is not only the seat of the US consulate, the German Consulate, the Sino Japanese Friendship Association and other foreign affairs agencies, but also the seat of the head office of the Sichuan provincial military region, Chengdu Air Force Command and other military agencies. Parachute tower area is the most famous recreational and cultural residential area in Chengdu. The West China Campus of Sichuan University is located in the West China dam, a famous cultural area in Chengdu history. Chengdu Institute of information engineering, Rennan campus of Chengdu University of traditional Chinese medicine, Chengdu No.7 Middle School, Zongbei middle school (primary school), Golden Apple kindergarten and other well-known educational institutions highlight the profound cultural connotation of the jurisdiction. The earliest "high-end community" in Chengdu, parachute tower zongnan and Zongbei communities, are the first batch of demonstration residential communities in China, which once led the trend of home furnishing in Chengdu. There are 11200 permanent residents and about 5000 floating population in the community. Chengke Road community: it starts from Keyuan street in the East and ends at the fourth section of Renmin South Road in the West; it starts from consulate road in the South and ends at the second section of the first ring road in the north, covering an area of about 0.25 square kilometers. There are more than 8900 permanent residents and about 2000 floating population in the community. Science and technology branch community: it borders on Zongbei community in the East and Chengke North Road in the West; it starts from Keyuan street in the South and ends at the second section of the first ring road in the north, covering an area of about 0.24 square kilometers. There are more than 6900 permanent residents and 2200 floating population in the community. Nanhong village community: it borders on the tourist village community in the East, the third section of Renmin South Road in the west, the second section of the first ring road in the south, the University Road and Xiaotianzhu street in the north, covering an area of about 0.3 square kilometers. There are 12515 permanent residents and 2000 floating population in the community. tourist village community: it is located in the north of the second section of the first ring road south and the west of Xinnan Road, adjacent to Sichuan University in the west, with an area of about 0.29 square kilometers. Xinnan Road community: it starts from Xinnan road in the East and ends at the third section of Renmin South Road in the West; it starts from university road in the South and ends at Funan River in the north, covering an area of about 0.41 square kilometers.
