Longquan Street

Longquan street, bounded by Xinhua Street, starts from Yuhuang mountain in the East, connects with the north section of Xingfu road in the west, Dongchang street in the South and Shipeng village of Huantong Township in the north. It covers an area of 7.8 square kilometers.

Division evolution

At the foot of the mountain to the east of shipengzigoumen in the jurisdiction, there is a cave with spring water, which is called Longquan cave. The street office is named after Longquan cave.

In May 1947, after the liberation of Tonghua, Longquan district was changed into Longquan sub district office, subordinate to Dongchang District government.

In 1956, the district was abolished.

Longquan commune was established in 1960;

Longquan street was changed in 1962.
